Sun Visors

The '60 Falcon came with different sun visors than the 61 and later Falcons. Also the base on the rear view mirror got changed in '61 to allow for this difference.

I found one sun visor on eBay cheap that I could use for a pattern. I have some material they make signs with. Its hard plastic sandwich between metal that is the same thickness as the visors to replace the hardboard. The clips are NOS and the pins are reproduced. The visor bracket was media blasted and painted.

The visor bracket from the '61 parts car was cut to length and notched to match the '60 visor. After a quick bead blasting they were etched primed, painted and pop-rivet to the visor.

I'm going to let my upholstery guy finish the rest.
