Sun Visors

The '60 Falcon came with different sun visors than the 61 and later Falcons. Also the base on the rear view mirror got changed in '61 to allow for this difference.

I found a sun visor on eBay that I could use for a pattern. I happen to have some hard plastic material the same thickness that would be perfect for the hardboard.

The visor bracket from the '61 parts car was cut to length and notched to match the '60 visor bracket. After bead blasting they were etched primed, painted and pop-rivet to the visor.

I let my upholstery guy finish the rest using the same material he used on the door panels. The visor clips are NOS and the pins are reproduced.

The mirror base was bead blasted , etched prime and painted. A reproduction mirror head replaced the old glass.
