I ran around on the 4-lug suspension from '74-'96 with no problems. I wanted to go with Granada disc brakes and decided the time has come to bite the bullet and swap to V8 suspension parts. Everything was going smooth until it came time for the idler arm. When 2 of the 3 bolt hole aligned it would throw the angle of the idler off. I ended up buying a 2-bolt idler made by Rare Parts. With the 6 cyl suspension the centerlink would touch the oil pan when completely turning lock to lock. With the V8 suspension the oil pan now clears the centerlink a good 2 inches
